Chicken stir-fry


What could be faster that an easy chicken stir-fry? And to boost the flavour I added some soy and oyster sauce. That was delicious!

What we need:

400 gr of boneless chicken thighs
100gr of mushrooms
1 tbsp of grated ginger
1 clove of garlic
2 green or red peppers
pepper
a handful of spring onions
2 tbsp of soy sauce
3 tbsp of oyster sauce
2 tbsp of oil
1 lemon

What we have to do:

1. Preheat the wok and add oil.
2. Put grated ginger and garlic. Fry for 1 minutes.
3. Add chicken meat sliced into cubes. Fry until get light brown. 2-3 minutes.
4. Put washed, halfed mushrooms and sliced peppers into the wok. Stir and fry for 2 more minutes.
5. Pour in oyster and soy sauce. Stir and cook until the sauces thickens and meat is cooked. Sprinkle with some chopped spring onions and add a drizzle of lemon juice. Serve with some Chinese noodles or rice. Enjoy!

Kohlrabi and carrot salad


Kohlrabi is fleshy turnip-shaped edible stem of the kohlrabi plant which is already in season in Turkey. So it's time for lovely salad!

What we need:

1 kohlrabi stem
2 carrots
1 onion
parsley
30gr of walnut
1 lemon juice
2-3 tbsps of mayonaise
salt and pepper

What we have to do:

1. Peel carrtos and kohlrabi, wash them and slice them in long sticks or grate with a special grater. Put them in a bowl.
2. Chop onion and parsley. Put them in a salad bowl. Mix them and season with salt and pepper. Mix mayonaise with lemon juice and pour onto the salad. Mix it and garnish with walnut. Serve!

Turkey burger for Saturday


Burgers don't have to be too fatty and unhealthy! Just use ground turkey and skip the white bread, then you won't feel guilty by adding a drop of mayonaise or ketchup! :)

What we need:

400gr of ground turkey
salt and pepper
1 onion
2 tbsps of breadcrumbs
2 tbsp of mayonaise
thyme
chilli
olive oil

some vegetables for serving

What we have to do:

1. Put ground turkey in a bowl, add a good pinch of salt and black pepper, mayonaise, breadcrumbs and fried onion. Mix it all together, add thyme and chilli pepper. Shape 3-4 burgers and put them in a fridge for 20 minutes.
2. Pre-heat the grill, brush it with some olive oil and put the burgers on. Fry for 5 minutes on each side.
3. Serve with some sliced or chopped vegetables, a drop of tomato ketchup and mayonaise. If you really want, have some toasted buns. Enjoy!
